Freshen Up for Friday Night Drinks
Want to go out straight after work? Give your eyes a little boost by lining them with a sparkle eyeshadow pencil or Cream Eyeshadow Stick. Smudge it out with your finger to give your eyes a bit more drama. You can also spritz on a makeup setting spray to hydrate and revive your makeup. Equally, if you suffer from midday shiny skin, you can dab on some primer for oily skin to instantly mattify the oily areas.
Conquer the Cat-Eye
This is one of our life changing beauty tips. You can either use clear tape or a credit card (yes really); placing the edge of the tape/card in line with your bottom lash line and angling the top toward the end of your eyebrow. Then, using that as a makeshift stencil, draw a fuss-free straight line with your liquid eyeliner.
Speed Up the Drying Process
Make your nail varnish dry faster by soaking your nails in ice water after painting them. Fill a bowl with ice and water, and soak your nails for a few minutes after painting them. The cold water will set the paint and help your nails dry faster.
Before using your perfume, apply Petroleum Jelly on the spots where you plan to spray it to help the scent last longer. The balm will hold the fragrance on your skin longer.
Curled Lashes for Longer
Heat up your eyelash curler using your hairdryer. Wait until it cools slightly but is still warm (you don’t want to burn your eyelid), and then clamp down on your lashes to curl them. You essentially create a makeshift curler for your eyelashes. It works the same way as when your hair holds a curl with a curler.
Dust translucent powder over your eyelashes between the first and second coats of mascara to give extra volume to your eyelashes. The mineral powder has grip so it will stick to your lashes in between each coat of mascara, making your lashes appear more voluminous
De-Puff those Eyes
The quickest way to reduce puffiness under the eye is to apply a cold, caffeine-based product. So you could use two cold green tea bags, under your eyes for five or six minutes to decrease puffiness. Then apply an eye cream for optimal benefit.
